File formats: Office 2013 will support the same file formats and use similar file extensions for backwards compatibility.
User interface: Office 2013 caters to the touch users – rightly so, since Windows 8 provides more intuitive touch features. Outlook: Outlook is now capable of supporting multiple email accounts, as well as handy features such as attachment reminders, People Hub – which allows both locally stored contacts, as well as syncing contacts from social networks – and a Weather Bar.
OneNote: Synchronous playback; you can record while typing, and then return to the note and hear the recording. There are also a number of new formatting options.
Office 365: There is now an “Office 365 Home Premium,” which offers software versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Access, and Publisher with a five user license, as well as 20GB of SkyDrive storage capacity.
